KBDfans TOFU TKL Special Edition is a limited keyboard run featured around the 2026 Year of the Horse and centered on the iconic Flying Horse motif from the Song Dynasty. KBDfans uses a signature, custom color palette of Cinnabar Red and Ochre Yellow for the case colors as well as internals like the plate and daughterboard cover.

TOFU TKL Year of the Horse Limited Edition

In anticipation of the 2026 Year of the Horse (the Bingwu year in the lunar calendar), this custom Tofu TKL edition is a tribute to heritage and progress.

The design takes the iconic Flying Horse motif from the Song Dynasty as its core inspiration, celebrating a spirit of vitality and ambition.

Dynamic Form and Symbolism

The Chassis: The back of the keyboard features a streamlined adaptation of the Song Dynasty horse, capturing a sense of upward momentum and high spirits.

The Details: Minimalist cloud motifs adorn the sides and front, evoking the classical imagery of a horse soaring through the heavens while carrying blessings for a prosperous and smooth New Year.

Signature Palette and Traditional Craft

The keyboard features a sophisticated color scheme of Cinnabar Red and Ochre Yellow, colors deeply rooted in Chinese history.

By integrating the Jia-ma (traditional woodblock rubbing) technique with auxiliary auspicious cloud patterns, we have created a visual system that possesses both profound cultural depth and a modern artistic soul.

Plate

The board uses a gold aluminium plate paired with solid copper weight bars. How much more huat can you get.
