Group Buy & Pre-Order Policy
What is a Group Buy (GB) or Pre-Order (PO)?
A Group Buy (GB) is a collective purchasing method used to fund the production of a product or project. Products involved in a GB can include items such as keyboard kits, custom keycap sets, switches, deskmats, and more.
A Pre-order (PO) refers to items that are either in the process of being manufactured, queued for production or en route to us. These items are typically limited in quantity and available for purchase before they are in stock.
Products listed as Group Buys or Pre-Orders are not in-stock items.
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Some Group Buys require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), which means that a certain number of people must commit to purchasing the product for it to be produced. If the MOQ isn’t met, the GB will be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund.
How to Participate in a Group Buy or Pre-Order
Ongoing Group Buys and Pre-Orders are listed in Group Buys & Pre-Orders. These products are available for purchase within a set time frame. Please refer to the individual product listing for specific purchase windows.
Pre-orders for some products may open after the Group Buy ends. These are additional units we’ve ordered, available for purchase at PO prices.
Why are Group Buys and Pre-Orders Cheaper?
Group Buys and Pre-orders are offered at discounted prices as a way of supporting the development and production of the product. These prices are lower than the MSRP or typical in-stock prices.
Timeline of Group Buys and Pre-Orders
Each product has its own tentative timeline, which can vary depending on the type of product. Please check the individual product listing for more details.
Be aware that the estimated timelines are not guaranteed and may be subject to delays. You can check the status of the Group Buy or Pre-order at updates.
Can I Modify My Group Buy Order?
You can modify your order only during the GB period. If you need to make changes, please email us at hello@ktechs.store with your order number and the requested changes.
We cannot process changes once the GB has closed.
How Can I Update My Shipping Address?
If you need to update your shipping address, please email us at hello@ktechs.store with your order number and new shipping address. We will confirm the update via email.
Note: We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect or outdated addresses.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
Due to the nature of Group Buys, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
Refused packages will not be automatically reshipped, cancelled, or refunded unless specifically requested by the customer.
Cancellations
You can only cancel your order while the GB is still ongoing. After the GB closes, cancellations will not be accepted.
A 5% transaction fee will be applied to all cancellations, with no exceptions. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method and may take 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. If a refund cannot be processed to your original payment method, it will be issued via bank transfer, which may take up to 30 business days.
Sale & Transfer of Group Buy Spots
We do not support the sale, transfer, or change of recipient for any Group Buy spots. If you no longer wish to participate in the GB, please cancel your order during the GB period.
We will not facilitate shipping or changes on your behalf to a new recipient.
