MetaPulse is a comprehensive ecosystem solution meticulously developed by MetaKeebs for the Electrostatic Capacitive (EC) keyboard domain.
It is designed to provide a premium, highly compatible, and fully integrated suite of EC components. The ecosystem includes core components such as PCBs, sliders, housings, and domes, and also incorporates forward-looking R&D projects such as OEM keycaps and non-silenced sliders.

Standard sliders are only compatible with MetaPulse housings. They are designed for builds that use a separate, standalone plate (such as stainless steel, aluminum, or other third-party plates). This setup is commonly seen in Realforce keyboards and custom EC projects, where components are assembled in layers. Each individual housing must be mounted into the plate one by one. This offers a more structured and modular configuration, typically associated with the custom mechanical keyboard scene.

The HHKB Integrated sliders are specifically designed for original HHKB or Realforce housings. Because the housing angles differ from standard ones, a dedicated version is required. This is commonly found in HHKB-style boards where the switch housing is part of a single, integrated structure within the case assembly. By reducing the number of separate components, this design provides a softer, more unified typing feel. It is also compatible with designs following the same integrated approach, such as Norbauer’s ABS Heavy Grail plate
