Introducing Vøid
Vøid is 65% layout mechanical keyboard kit with a dual mounting system, top mount and o-ring mount.
Vøid provides an adjustable typing experience that allows users to customize the stiffness and sound characteristics.
Users can choose between a top mount for a stiffer typing experience and sound, or an o-ring mount for a softer typing experience and isolated sound.
Behind the logo
The Ø in Vøid carries multiple meanings, each adding depth to the design philosophy.
It can represent zero, symbolizing nothingness and the concept of a void. It also signifies a starting point, as beginnings often start from zero.
The idea of "void" implies emptiness, suggesting a space full of potential and possibilities, ready to be filled with creativity and innovation.

Vøid offers an aggressive look while still maintaining a clean design.
Internal Construction
Vøid keyboard design is composed of five primary components:
1) Top Case
2) Bottom Case
3) Switch Plate
4) Rear Weight
5) Bottom Weight.
Both the Bottom Plate and Rear Bumper are engineered to add substantial weight, enhancing the overall density of the keyboard case.
This increased density is meticulously designed to improve acoustic performance, resulting in a more satisfying and resonant typing experience.
Internal Design
The height of the overall board is also optimized towards the ideal typing height as it is a crucial factor in achieving your best typing speed yet.
Some gutter space was also addedto optimize the travel distance for SMT components from the PCB, such as diodes, micro controller, and hotswap sockets, while keeping the overall board density.
Dual Mounting System
Anorexus believes in three factors when deciding on keyboards:
1) Visual Aesthetics
2) Typing Feel
3) Acoustics
It's common for users to be drawn to a keyboard's appearance, only to be let down by its typing feel and acoustics.
With this in mind, two different mounting systems for Vøid were developed, with the aim of giving users the freedom to select the setup that best suits their preferences.

Both hotswap and solder are available options to suit your preferences.
The hotswap version supports Stepped Caps Lock and split backspace, while the solder version is more versatile, supporting everything the hotswap does, plus additional ISO and cursed layout support.
