Inspiration
The lotus has long symbolised purity, elegance, and Zen philosophy. Drawing inspiration from this, we fused Eastern aesthetics with modern industrial design. Centred on minimalist contours and symmetrical beauty, we eliminated superfluous decorations to create a keyboard that balances visual appeal and functionality.
Our Nature Series emphasises subtractive design, stripping away homogenised industrial elements. The goal was to achieve simplicity while retaining thematic sophistication and distinctiveness.

Front Design
Since the lotus theme doesn’t lend itself well to RGB lighting, we opted for an understated approach—a finely engraved logo paired with a lotus-leaf emblem to adorn the front. Unlike our previous Sunset with ultra-thin bezels, the LOTUS features moderately sized borders to complement its elegant and grand aesthetic.

Side Profile
The sides employ a gently concave, curved-edge design, mimicking the natural unfurling of lotus leaves. The smooth transitions offer a refined tactile experience while reducing visual bulk.

Back Design
Large Weight (Backplate): Crafted from stainless steel, the center features a curved lotus-platform design that echoes the petals above. The interplay of two contrasting metals forms a complete lotus, embodying elegance, purity, and Zen-inspired aesthetics. The layered petals and symmetry exude a quiet luxury, further enhanced by the heft of brass and stainless steel.

Weight
Small Weight (Lotus Motif): Made of brass, the multi-layered petals radiate from a circular base, creating a 3D relief effect that mimics overlapping lotus petals.

Structural Design
To maintain a clean look, we used internal screw fastening (hidden screws) instead of visible mounts. The keyboard features a two-layer construction (technically three due to the stainless steel backplate).
Mounting Style: TOP Mount
While the custom keyboard scene has explored various soft-mounting styles (e.g., gasket), we returned to the classic TOP mount for this build. Why? Because sometimes, sticking to the original, uncompromising feel aligns better with the spirit of customization—OG and unyielding to trends.
