As an idea that was brought into fruition, the MX2A Brixie started as a franken switch to round out brighter pitches in the MX2A Browns by swapping Nixie tops over. 

We're selling these switches deconstructed, unlubricated.

Switches come deconstructed and have to assemble them yourself.

Each purchase comes with:

100 MX2A Nixie Tops
100 MX2A Bottom Housings
100 MX2A Brown Stems
100 Copper Leaf A
100 Copper Leaf B
Springs are not included. Use your own!

Assembling Cherry Brixies

Components

Ensure that you have your

  1. Top Housing
  2. Bottom Housing
  3. Stem
  4. Leaf A
  5. Leaf B
  6. Spring of Choice

Step 1

Orient the switch housing and note the points where Leaf A and Leaf B are inserted into the bottom housing

Step 2

Push Leaf A into the bottom housing, ensuring that it's fully flushed into the bottom case

Step 3

Repeat for Leaf B

Final steps

4: Use a spring of your choice

5: Put on the Brown stem

6: Close the switch with the Top Housing

If you're unable to close the switch, this means that Leaf A is not fully seated in the bottom housing.
