Caramel Pudding switches come with a modified UPE Stem, a more recent material as compared to those usually offered by HMX. 

HMX's version of UPS is modified to increase its strength as well as durability, making it less maleable compared to those offered by other manfacturers.

The goal of this switch is to make them sound as deep as possible and I honestly think they haven't missed the mark when compared against other HMX offerings.
